Tolonate™ IDT 70 B

Description
 Aliphatic polyisocyanate based on Isophorone Diisocyanate trimer (IPDI homopolymer),
    supplied at 70 % solids in butyl acetate.

Applications
 Tolonate™ IDT 70 B is typically used as a crosslinker of hydroxylated polymers,
    especially polyesters and polyacrylic polyols, to prepare two-component
    polyurethanes coatings and varnishes showing excellent outdoor durability and
    mechanical properties in conjunction with outstanding resistance to solvents,
    abrasion and chemicals.
 Due to its cycloaliphatic structure, Tolonate™ IDT 70 B is usually used in blends
    with HDI derivatives, such as, for instance, Tolonate™ HDB 75 MX, Tolonate™
    HDT 90 or Tolonate™ HDT-LV2. Recommended ratios are usually in the range of
    80/20 to 60/40 (HDI derivative / IDT - dry/dry). Using Tolonate™ IDT 70 B in the
    hardener leads to films with shorter physical drying and higher hardness.
